Women micro-entrepreneurs in Iloilo are gaining stronger footing in their businesses after participating in a training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The activity, organized in partnership with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions (LEDIP Center Iloilo Province) Center of the Iloilo Provincial Government, supports the Gender and Development (GADIloilo) Local Learning Hub’s program on Women Economic Empowerment.
Through the training, participants learned essential practices to ensure product safety, quality, and competitiveness—skills that directly impact their capacity to expand markets, increase customer trust, and sustain their livelihood.
For many women-led enterprises, the session not only opened opportunities to scale up production but also strengthened their role in contributing to household income and community development.
