The Iloilo Provincial Government’s client-focused initiatives took the spotlight today as local officials from Cabalanga, Camarines Sur visited the Provincial Capitol for a learning exchange.
The delegation benchmarked Iloilo’s Gender and Development (GAD), Tourism, and Economic Programs, all designed to directly improve services and opportunities for the people.
These programs, anchored on inclusivity and empowerment, serve as models for other local governments seeking to strengthen community-based development.
During the visit, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias also shared the social justice agenda of Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., emphasizing fairness and equal access to government services.
He also highlighted Iloilo’s ongoing education initiatives, particularly the province’s push to improve reading skills among learners.
The learning visit reflects how Iloilo’s governance model continues to inspire and provide value beyond its borders.
