Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. along with Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) chief Ildefonso Toledo, Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office chief Atty. Emmanuel Buyco, Provincial Engineer’s Office chief Engr. Romeo Andig, Provincial Tourism Officer Bombette Marin, and the PAO staff visited the Provincial Agri-Aqua Research and Technology (ART) Center in Brgy. Nanga, Pototan, Iloilo early this morning.
Gov. Defensor inspected the area and talked with the concerned department heads about future projects pertaining to agriculture and fisheries.
He also wanted to link ART Center to his new program, “Gardening for MoRProgRes” which aims to promote food security and at the same time create agri-tourism destinations in the province.
