With barely four days left, the Iloilo provincial government is 100 percent ready for the hosting of the Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan 2024 on January 27, 2024.
Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. said the security measures and contingency plans are already in place. The Kasadyahan committees are also closely coordinating with the Iloilo City Government to ensure a seamless hosting of the event.
“We are already ready,” Defensor told the media during his regular press conference on Wednesday morning.
Capitol personnel as well as the volunteers will be deployed in the four judging areas to maintain security and order.
The four judging areas are at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Corner Mabini-Delgado, and Corner Quezon-Ledesma.
The governor said the province also has a backup measure in the event of power outages.
