6 District Hospitals Get New Ambulances

Six brand new ambulances procured by the Iloilo Provincial Government were blessed and turned over to recipient district hospitals this morning.

Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr., Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and Hospital Management Office (HMO) chief Dr. Paz Calopiz led the turnover ceremony at the Provincial Capitol grounds.

The ambulances were received by the chiefs of Federico Roman Tirador, Sr. Memorial District Hospital (Dr. Jeseryl Villa), Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital (Dr. Dennis Roy Pasadilla), Rep. Pedro G. Trono Memorial District Hospital (Dr. Lily Ann Eslabra), Jesus M. Colmenares District Hospital (Dr. Gene Baltazar), Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (Dr. Ronnel Quiñon), and Don Valerio Palmares, Sr. Memorial District Hospital (Dr. Roberto Alfabeto).

The ambulances were procured to optimize the overall efficiency and effectiveness of hospital operations by enhancing health outcomes through expeditious patient transfers and delivery of proper medical care during transit.
