Humanity & Inclusion Philippines, an independent and impartial aid International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working with situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster, is teaming up with the Iloilo Provincial Government to provide crucial support to children and young people with Type 1 Diabetes.
The organization will implement the Changing Diabetes In Children (CDIC) Project, offering free access to inclusive health services for diabetic care and management to individuals aged 0-25.
Project Officer Ms. Roxanne Bation paid Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. a courtesy visit and expressed the organization’s eagerness to collaborate on the project.
With plans to provide free insulin, medical devices, and patient education, the initiative aims to significantly impact the lives of those affected by Type 1 Diabetes, thanks to support from donors, partners, and stakeholders.
