Local government unit (LGU) representatives from all districts of the province and GAD focal persons from higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Iloilo underwent a workshop that identified policies and programs localizing national laws that support Sustainable Development Goals.

DLSU Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Lab Director, Dr. Francisco Magno, stated that the workshop’s outcome will help monitor the local implementation of national policies on women and children and enhance the role of HEIs in contributing to the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) and SDG goals.
