The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, through the Senior Citizens Federated Associations of Iloilo, Inc., partnered with The Medical City to provide services for senior citizens focused on health and wellness today, July 17, 2024, at the Casa Real de Iloilo Grand Social Hall.
The event offered a series of seminars and activities such as Basic Life Support and Nutritional Facts led by experts from The Medical City.
The Medical City also offered a free health screening service where senior citizens received blood and heart pressure checkups and other essential health assessments.
The senior citizens also actively participated in the Banat-Banat sa Kaugatan Dance-Along.
PDAO designate Rara Ganzon said the Iloilo provincial government ensures that the elderly will feel that they still play an important role in society by addressing their healthcare needs.
