The Iloilo Provincial Government today took part in the launch of Brigada Eskwela at Dolores Tirador Elementary School in Brgy Dongsol, Pototan, Iloilo.
The event saw the attendance of various stakeholders from both government and non-government organizations, all united in their commitment to improving the educational environment.
Iloilo Provincial Administrator Raul Banias emphasized the broader scope of Brigada Eskwela, stating it extends beyond just the physical maintenance of school facilities.
“It also aims to improve education quality, increase learner participation, reduce dropouts, and enhance student performance,” said Banias.
As part of its Bulig Eswela sang Probinsya Program (BES Probins Program), the Iloilo Provincial Government also pledged its support to the implementation of the School Perimeter Fencing Project and the War on Waste Program at Dolores P. Tirador Elementary School.
This support is seen to enhance the security and safety of the school premises and create a more conducive environment for learning and development.
“We, from the Iloilo Provincial Government, acknowledge this initiative’s importance and commit to providing funds for the project implementation and successful completion,” said Iloilo Governor Arthur R Defensor, Jr. in his message.
