The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) celebrated its 50th Founding Anniversary with a Regional Encampment from July 24-26, 2024 at Camp General Macario Peralta, Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz.
Organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the event carried the theme “Golden Milestones Fostering Generational Youth-led Initiatives for Inclusivity and Social Change.”
The Province of Iloilo, with a delegation of nine PYAP delegates from the LGUs of Pototan, Tigbauan, and Zarraga, also presented its Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME) on Mental Health through the Iloilo Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO Province Of Iloilo).
The Iloilo delegation also showcased its talents, securing 3rd place in the regional Got Talent competition.
