A surge in dengue cases that has surpassed both epidemic and alert thresholds has prompted Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr to convene the Civil Defense Cluster, bringing together Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (LDRRMOs) and Municipal Health Offices (MHOs) in an urgent meeting.
The meeting, held in a hybrid format to accommodate in-person and online participants, was presided over by Officer-in-Charge Governor, Atty. Dennis Ventilacion. Key members of the Civil Defense Cluster were present to address the escalating dengue situation.
With the province now under a dengue outbreak, the meeting focused on developing and implementing strategies to contain the spread of the disease and provide necessary medical assistance to affected residents.
