In support of the advocacy for environmental protection and conservation, the Province of Iloilo, through the PGENRO, joined the Tree Growing Activity #forPanDeAzucarIsland on August 17–18, 2024.
The two-day activity covered an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign, followed by a tree planting at Hampangan Rock, Holy Hill, and at Sitio Ban-ban, Brgy. Tambaliza, Concepcion, Iloilo.
This initiative was organized by the Save Pan De Azucar Movement in collaboration with the BLGU of Tambaliza and the Iloilo Science and Technology University.
