Barotac Viejo NHS Wins 2024 Provincial Statistics Quiz Top Schools Set For Regional Competition

Fifty Junior High School students from across Iloilo Province competed in the 2024 Provincial Statistics Quiz on October 14, 2024, at Casa Real, Iloilo Provincial Capitol, as part of the 35th National Statistics Month celebration.

The event, themed “Advancing Data and Statistics through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” was organized in collaboration with the Iloilo Provincial Government and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Barotac Viejo National High School (NHS) emerged as the champion, followed by Barotac Nuevo National Comprehensive High School in 1st Place and  Anilao National High School in 2nd Place.

These three schools will represent Iloilo Province in the regional competition on October 17, 2024 to be sponsored by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region 6.
