The Iloilo Provincial Library and Archives recently conducted a storytelling activity at Brgy. Napnud Day Care Center in Leganes, Iloilo, gathering 31 pupils and their parents to promote literacy and early childhood education.
The event featured a storytelling session of “Si Tuting, si Muning at ang Kontrabidang Daga”.
Children also participated in number identification, color matching, and arts and crafts activities.
As part of its literacy program, the Iloilo Provincial Government aims to enhance reading skills, language development, and creativity among young learners. School supplies were also distributed to the pupils.
This is the second storytelling event conducted by the provincial library this year.
