Local government units from the first and second districts of Iloilo participated in the first two days of the LGU Orientation held from July 31 to August 1, 2025, signaling the start of the province-wide implementation of the SiPag at TiyaGa for MoRProGRes sa Bagong Pilipinas program.
Anchored on Executive Order No. 040, s. 2025, the program is a convergence initiative of the Iloilo Provincial Government that aims to deliver food and health security interventions at the community level. It empowers LGUs to serve as active partners in ensuring accessible, sufficient, and responsive basic services for every Ilonggo.
The orientation series aims to harmonize local implementation strategies and build strong inter-LGU cooperation ahead of the program’s simultaneous rollout across all districts. The active participation of the 1st and 2nd District municipalities underscores their commitment to inclusive development and results-driven governance.
