The PENRO-LGU Iloilo Ipg headed by Atty. Cesar Emmanuelle P. Buyco, Jr., together with the Provincial Health Office, Provincial Engineer’s Office, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Local Government Unit of Dumangas Energy Efficiency and Conservation Officer, and the Department of Education Nurse successfully conducted a site validation at Tamboilan Elementary School in Dumangas on August 6, 2025 for the Renewable Energy Projects for Off-Grid Healthy Learning Institutions to be funded by the Provincial School Board.
The site validation included the discussion and interview of the school principal facilitated by the EEC Desk regarding the current situation of the school for the proposed installation of the solar PV system. The PEO conducted an inspection of the school premises to determine the possible location of the rooftop solar PV system.
This project will address the need for energy in HLIs to aid learners and teachers in enhancing and optimizing the learning experience of the students.
Tamboilan Elementary School is selected for the 4th district Healthy Learning Institution. (PGENRO-EEC Desk)
