Better mobility and early childhood services are on the way for Lambunao as Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. released ₱3.75 million to fund vital projects in Barangays Cabunlawan and Cabugao.
Barangay Cabunlawan received ₱2 million for the reconstruction of its box culvert.
The project is expected to ease transportation, especially during the rainy season when flooding hampers travel, and to support farmers and small businesses in moving their produce and goods more safely and efficiently.
In Barangay Cabugao, Defensor turned over ₱1.75 million for the construction of a new Day Care Center, giving young children a safe and nurturing space for early learning.
Parents and guardians welcome the initiative, noting that the facility will allow them to focus on their work and livelihood knowing that their children are in a secure environment.
