August 29, 2025 – The Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion (LEDIP) Center Team, in coordination with UMWAD TBI/ISAT University, successfully conducted the 2nd Coordination Meeting with selected Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) offices in preparation for the upcoming 2025 Provincial Startup Hackathon, which forms part of the week-long Western Visayas Innovative Startup Fest 2025 scheduled on September 17-19, 2025.
The meeting served as an avenue for participating offices to present their initially identified challenges, which will be further refined and finalized for the Reverse Pitching Session on September 17, 2025.
The 2025 Iloilo Province Startup Hackathon marks the first official activity organized by the Iloilo Province Startup Development Committee (IPSDC) since its convening in June 2025. The initiative underscores the province’s strong commitment to fostering a dynamic startup ecosystem and supporting innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development and inclusive growth.
