Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. turned over today a check worth ₱1,178,900 to the Municipality of Janiuay, which serves as the host town of the 2025 Provincial Cooperative Month Celebration in the province.
The financial assistance supports the activities of the month-long celebration that aims to promote cooperativism and strengthen the role of cooperatives in inclusive growth and community development.
Governor Defensor reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to advancing the cooperative movement as a key partner in improving livelihoods, fostering entrepreneurship, and driving Iloilo’s socio-economic progress.
