The Iloilo Provincial Government continues its commitment to peace and reintegration as it extends assistance to former rebels returning to mainstream society.
Former rebel couple Alyas Jun/Jullie and Alyas Jelly paid a visit to the Office of the Provincial Administrator, where they were briefed by Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul Banias on possible assistance programs they may avail of from the provincial government.
Alyas Jelly, who once served as a political guide, and Alyas Jun/Jullie, a former vice commanding officer under the Central Front, KR-Panay, were assisted by officers from the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
Through its convergence of offices, the Iloilo Provincial Government reaffirms its dedication to promoting peace, providing livelihood opportunities, and supporting the full reintegration of former rebels into peaceful and productive lives within their communities.
