The Iloilo provincial government received P1 million from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) during a courtesy visit today by PAGCOR officials led by Satellite Casino Manager Joel Cantos.
Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. received the remittance, which represents the monthly provincial share from the gaming corporation. The funds will support ongoing programs and services that directly benefit Iloilo residents.
During the visit, PAGCOR also proposed the installation of road signages, a request that aligns with Governor Defensor’s commitment to enhancing road safety across the province. The initiative aims to provide clearer warnings in high-risk areas, ensuring safer travel for commuters and communities.
