The Public Information and Community Affairs Office (PICAO) personnel headed by Jose Nereo Lujan presented to Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. and Provincial Administrator Raul Banias the award it received from the Philippine Information Agency VI as Best Performing Information Office this year.
The award was conferred during the Western Visayas Information Officers’ Regional Summit on December 12, 2024 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
PICAO received similar recognition in 2023. It also clinched the Hall of Fame award as Best Performing Information Office for three consecutive years in 2019, 2020, 2021.
