The Iloilo Provincial Government through the PESO – Province of Iloilo continues to equip students with career readiness skills by conducting Career Development Support Programs (CDSP) across multiple institutions, benefitting senior high school and college students.
Oton National High School (ONHS) and Janiuay National Comprehensive High School (JNCHS) held simultaneous career coaching sessions to guide Grade 10 and 12 students in making informed career choices, providing students with labor market insights, career opportunities, and professional development tips.
Meanwhile, the Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) Batad Campus empowered its graduating college students through a CDSP session focusing on resume writing, interview techniques, and workplace readiness.
These initiatives align with Republic Act No. 11206, or the Secondary School Career Guidance and Counseling Act, authored by Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., reinforcing the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to ensuring that students are career-ready and aligned with industry demands.
