People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Iloilo can now expect more holistic and client-focused care following the Training of Trainers on the Psychosocial and Economic Health Care Provider Network (PsySE HCPN).
Organized by the Iloilo Provincial Government through the Iloilo Provincial Health Office, Hospital Management Office, and PSWDO Province Of Iloilo, in partnership with Sustained Health Initiatives in the Philippines (SHIP), the training equipped doctors, nurses, and social workers with skills to provide not just medical support, but also psychosocial and economic assistance to clients.
The PsySE HCPN model ensures that PLHIV have access to counseling, livelihood opportunities, mental health support, and social protection, strengthening the province’s client-centered HIV response.
