To intensify its fight against dengue, the Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (PHO), recently held an orientation on proper indoor residual spraying techniques for representatives from 33 barangays in Dingle.
The training, conducted in collaboration with the Dingle Rural Health Unit, equips barangay leaders and health volunteers with effective tools to curb mosquito breeding and protect households from dengue infection.
Indoor residual spraying is a proven method in vector control, offering long-term protection when applied correctly.
The PHO continues to work closely with LGUs to ensure that health interventions reach even the most remote barangays, safeguarding every Ilonggo household from mosquito-borne threats.
