The Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Provincial Cooperatives Development Office Iloilo (PCDO), recently conducted a two-day workshop on Cooperative Governance and Management for cooperative leaders and members from across the province.
The workshop equipped them with essential knowledge and skills to elevate governance practices within their respective cooperatives, emphasizing good governance, ethical standards, cooperative administration, financial monitoring, and a deeper understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Participants also engaged in sessions focused on social and economic performance standards, particularly through discussions on cooperative audits.
By continuously investing in cooperative education and capacity development, the Iloilo Provincial Government ensures that cooperatives are not just surviving, but thriving as pillars of local economic resilience.
