With a mission to restore lives and inspire change, the Iloilo Provincial Government, through its Bahay Pag-asa facility Balay Pagbag-o, and the Dalayunan Home for Boys, teamed up with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) – Iloilo City District Office to hold the first-ever one-day basketball clinic and case conference at the USWAG Covered Gym, Zone 1, Bo. Obrero.
Bearing the theme “Strengthening Restorative Justice through Sports,” the activity served as a recreational break and a transformative platform for Children in Conflict with the Law (CICLs) to develop discipline, confidence, and camaraderie.
The event directly supports the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to holistic rehabilitation under the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (OPSWDO).
Through Balay Pagbag-o, the province implements restorative programs that nurture not only the legal needs of CICLs but also their psychosocial, emotional, and developmental growth.
