Mayor Reynor Gonzales of Lambunao, with some Punong Barangays, received two checks from Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. this morning from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
One check worth Php 5 million is intended for the establishment of a Resilience Hub while another check worth Php 1 million is for farmers affected by the El Niño phenomenon last year.
The Resilience Hub is an extension of the Provincial Civil Defense Operation Center (ProCid OpCen) which is a centralized command that will respond to disasters and other prevailing emergency situations such as climate change, food security, and health crisis, among others.
