The members of the Provincial Nutrition Council Technical Working Group (PNC-TWG) convened during the 3rd quarter meeting on July 7, 2025 to discuss upcoming Nutrition Month activities as well as nutrition-sensitive programs aimed at improving the nutritional status of the Ilonggos.
On July 23, the PNC will spearhead the launching of the “Kumain Lokal, Suportahan Lokal” at the Municipality of Cabatuan as part of the Cabatuan Market Day 2025.
This program aims to promote the consumption of local, fresh, and nutritious food and support local farmers and small producers.
On July 30 to 31, there will be a Nutrition Month culminating activity in unserved and underserved barangays in Gigantes Island in Carles.
The provincial government has kicked off the month-long celebration today, July 7, as part of its efforts of promoting a healthy lifestyle and advocating for collaborative efforts towards achieving food security.
