School officials of Guihaman-Buntatala Elementary School and barangay officials of Brgy. Buntatala, Leganes receive a check worth Php 2.3 million from Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. for the construction of a water system at Guihaman-Buntatala Elementary School.
The water system project will be undertaken with Signpost International, a non-government organization (NGO), as partner.
Signpost International director Febie Ibojos said the project, which will utilize advanced gravity-fed ultrafiltration technology sourced from Australia, aims to generate potable water for the school community and and its neighbors.
Vice Governor Nathalie Ann Debuque and Provincial School Board (PSB) Secretary Ma. Freda Fajardo participated in the ceremonial turnover of the check as a gesture of support for the project.
