Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., Vice Governor Nathalie Ann Debuque, Third District Congressman Lorenz Defensor, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and other officials graced the launching of the Municipality of Maasin’s PAG-UMWAD 2.0 Program this morning.
The launching kicked off with an enrichment planting activity along the bank of Tigum River at the Maasin Watershed and was highlighted by the groundbreaking ceremony of the town’s eco-tourism projects.
PAG-UMWAD 2.0, an acronym for Pag-Uswag sang Maasin Watershed, Agrikultura, Dunang Manggad, complement’s Governor Defensor’s revitalized Tanum Iloilo Program which aims to make Iloilo a Forest Province.
