The Iloilo Provincial Government, through PESO – Province of Iloilo, stepped up its outreach to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families by bringing key programs and services directly to communities in Batad, Concepcion, and Cabatuan.
Through Migration and Development Forums (MDF) and Anti-Illegal Recruitment (AIR) sessions, OFWs gained valuable information on safe migration, reintegration support, and government assistance available to them.
These activities not only empowered OFWs with knowledge but also strengthened the capacity of local Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs) and barangay coordinators to deliver employment services and safeguard migrant workers from illegal recruitment.
By working closely with municipal leaders, OFW organizations, and community partners, the province is ensuring that help, guidance, and opportunities are always within the reach of every Iloilo migrant family.
