Residents of Balay Pagbag-o received much-needed care and assistance as the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Janiuay, together with the Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH WV CHD), held an outreach activity on August 15, 2025.
The team distributed medicines and turned over a wheelchair, extending both immediate relief and long-term support for residents in need of mobility assistance.
For the beneficiaries, the visit went beyond material aid. It symbolized compassion, inclusion, and the assurance that government services are within reach.
Balay Pagbag-o is a 24/7 child-caring institution under the Iloilo Provincial Government, managed by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO). It offers temporary residential care and intensive rehabilitation for male CICL aged 15 to under 18, who are awaiting court disposition or transfer to other agencies.
