Provincial Administrator Raul Banias with Public Employment Service Office (PESO) head Cynthia Dario led the payout to 21 successful Iloilo Provincial Government interns under the Provincial Internship Program (PIP) on Monday, September 15, 2025.
PIP is a localized program by the PESO, with the full support of Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. giving the beneficiaries a chance to be exposed in government offices especially for those who want to pursue their career in government service thereby exposing them to the real world of work.
The interns were assigned in the different offices of the Iloilo Provincial Government for three months, receiving a daily minimum wage.
