The Iloilo Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) convened its 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 18, 2025 to address key issues on peace, order, and public safety in the province.
Presided over by Atty. Dennis T. Ventilacion, the meeting featured updates from law enforcement and government agencies.
Reports included the provincial peace and order situation, military security updates, fire and jail management concerns, maritime safety, student safety and security, and the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan 2026–2028.
After deliberations, the Council approved six resolutions aimed at strengthening peace and order initiatives, enhancing safety measures, and improving inter-agency coordination across Iloilo.
A ceremonial turnover of a check worth ₱105,650 was also conducted in support of the Anti-Illegal Drug Abuse Program of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office.
The amount was received by PCol. Bayani M. Razalan, Provincial Director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, from Hon. Board Member June Mondejar and Atty. Ventilacion.
The PPOC reaffirmed its commitment to sustain collaborative efforts with law enforcement agencies, local government units, and stakeholders to ensure peace and security throughout the province.
