Gov. Toto Defensor turned over a check worth P2.5 million to Barotac Viejo Vice Mayor Vivian Buenavista for the construction of a water system at San Juan Elementary School. Joining the vice mayor is San Juan Elementary School Principal Lalaine Gayo.
Also present during the turnover is Ms. Freda Fajardo, secretary of the Provincial School Board.
This water system project is part of the provincial government’s commitment of ensuring that every school children has access to safe and clean water.
Vice Mayor Buenavista also thanked Governor Defensor for the town’s New Garbage Compactor which was funded by the provincial government. The equipment helped boost Barotac Viejo’s solid waste management programs.
