The municipality of New Lucena received a check for P5 million from the Iloilo provincial government for their solid waste management programs.
Provincial Administrator Raul Banias turned over the assistance to Mayor Carl Vincent Mondejar, MENRO Kenneth Sobremisana, and Municipal Treasurer Rio Manaay.
Joining the turnover is Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office Supervising Environmental Management Specialist Mitzi Peñaflorida.
