The municipality of Tubungan received an assistance of P5.5 million from the Iloilo provincial government as support for the purchase of their garbage compactor, bottle crusher, and shredder machine.
On behalf of Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr., Provincial Administrator Raul Banias turned over the check to Mayor Roquito Tacsagon. He was joined by PGENRO Chief Atty. Cesar Emmanuelle Buyco Jr. and Supervising Environmental Management Specialist Mitzi Peñaflorida.
This assistance is part of the provincial government’s commitment of boosting the solid waste management program of Iloilo towns.
