The Province of Iloilo ranked first among the six provinces in Western Visayas in terms of highest collection efficiency in four locally-sourced revenue for 2024 namely real property tax, business tax, fees and charges, and economic enterprise.
The recognition was given by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) under the Department of Finance (DOF) during the 2025 Regional Conference of Assessors, Treasurers, and their Technical Personnel today at the Grand Hotel, Iloilo City.
The recognition was formally received by Provincial Treasurer Jean Maire G. Umadhay who represented the provincial government in the presence of key financial officers and local government officials from across Western Visayas.
