The Sta. Barbara Under-16 football team showcased their grit and teamwork as they bagged the championship title in the recently concluded Pintaflores Cup: National Invitational Tournament held in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Dubbed as the “Young Barbarians,” the team emerged victorious against the San Carlos City Football Club with an impressive 4–0 scoreline, earning them the title of 33rd Pintaflores U16 National Football Cup Champions.
Meanwhile, the Barotac Nuevo Football Club also brought pride to Iloilo after finishing as second runner-up, defeating Don Bosco Technical College of Cebu in the battle for third place.
Several individual awards were also given to Iloilo players:
