Yesterday, Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. met with TESDA Regional Director Esther Babalo and officials of the BJMP relative to his proposed Livelihood Training Center for persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Iloilo District Jail in Barangay Nanga, Pototan.
Also joining them are the Capitol Core Team led by Provincial Administrator Raul Banias who will be involved in the crafting of key interventions leading to the rehabilitation and reintegration of PDLs.
The team will be conducting a training needs assessment next week to fast track the implementation of the program which aims to empower the PDLs as they reintegrate into the society.
