Bingawan’s Pagnahi-an Festival commemorates the “Pagnahi-an,” an early communal longhouse established by the town’s pioneers.
Notable for its unique construction where partitions were stitched together to house forty families, the site is now home to the Bingawan Baptist Church.
The festival serves as a tribute to the architectural and social unity of the town’s ancestors.
Mayor Matt Palabrica drew loud cheers when he was spotted among the performers.
