Provincial Population Officer Atty. Ruel Von Superio presented the Provincial Population Officers (PPOs) from the 34 municipalities of the province who were recognized as Outstanding Local Population Offices in Western Visayas – Municipal Category by the Commission on Population and Development Region VI during the flag‑raising ceremony this morning.
The awardees were likewise formally introduced to Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. at his office.
In addition, the Iloilo Provincial Population Office received the same distinction in the Provincial Category.
The official awarding ceremony is scheduled on March 13, 2026 here in Iloilo City.
