Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. began the week by releasing funds for vital barangay projects that will directly benefit communities across Iloilo.
He turned over ₱250,000 for the construction of a waiting hall and fence at the Barangay Health Center of Tacuyong Sur, Leon.
Another ₱300,000 was released for the construction of a community stage at the multi-purpose covered court of San Julian, Calinog.
Meanwhile, Barangay Alabidhan, Bingawan received ₱1,310,000 for the completion of its Barangay Health Center building, a project that will further strengthen local health services.
These initiatives reflect the provincial government’s commitment to improving public facilities and ensuring that essential services are accessible to all.
Through these projects, Governor Defensor underscores the importance of investing in communities by building infrastructure that not only serves immediate needs but also fosters long-term growth and well-being for the people of Iloilo.
