The Iloilo Provincial Government released P9 million to the municipality of Badiangan to fund a slope protection project and the expansion of its weaving center in Barangay Cabayogan.
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. personally handed the check to Mayor Suzette Mamon in the presence of municipal and barangay officials.
The fund allocation aims to strengthen infrastructure resiliency through the slope protection project while boosting livelihood opportunities with the expansion of the town’s weaving center, a key source of income for local artisans.
