The nearly 2,400 students and faculty of Maasin National Comprehensive High School can now enjoy a safe and potable water supply following the completion of its P2.2 million water system project which was funded by the Iloilo provincial government.
Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. spearheaded the inauguration and testing of the water system project today, February 16, 2026.
Under its Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project, the provincial government aims to reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases among students by providing them access to clean and safe water and rehabilitating their water sources.
