PCD Action Center, OPDRRMO Boost Coordination For Urgent Development Mode Situations

Convened for a levelling-off session, the Provincial Community Defense Action Center (PCDAC) and the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (OPDRRMO) harmonize their roles and functions in line with Executive Order No. 111, Series of 2025, entitled “𝘈𝘯 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘋𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘔𝘰𝘙𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘎𝘙𝘦𝘴 𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰 – 𝘒𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘢𝘯, 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯, 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴.”

Discussions focused on clarifying mandates, strengthening coordination mechanisms, and aligning operational procedures, particularly during urgent development mode, disasters, and emergency situations.

Both offices agreed to strictly observe established protocols, with the PCD Action Center designated to serve as the base facility for information management, communication coordination, and monitoring to ensure timely and evidence-based decision-making of the Governor.
